For two thousand years the settled treatment for almost any illness was to open a vein and drain the patient. In 1799 it helped see off George Washington.
1847: Semmelweis showed handwashing took childbed deaths from one in six to almost none. Insulted, his colleagues ran him out, and he died in an asylum.
1900s: they sold radium as a health tonic and fitted children's shoes by X-ray in the shop. Then the jaws and the feet started to rot.
1949: they gave the Nobel Prize in Medicine to the lobotomy. A decade later it was a byword for butchery.
1950s: they prescribed thalidomide to pregnant women and swore it was gentle. Then the babies arrived.
1960s: they whipped out millions of children's tonsils on sight. Then they checked, found most never needed it, and stopped.
Every one of those was the settled science of its day. The journals, the committees, the experts, and a special contempt for the doubters.
Every one moved.
So look at what carries that same certainty now. A statin for every middle-aged adult. An acid blocker for life. An antidepressant in a ten-minute slot. A weight-loss jab you must never come off.
All of it said in the same confident voice. Backed by the same kind of committee.
The doubters have a better track record than the consensus does.
They always have.
I did an AMA yesterday for https://t.co/xfbQ93eWex and mentioned the Wuhan lab origins of Covid19. It is still not widely understood in much of the world let alone the US.
This is why https://t.co/nVAbKKm5im was created.
A big part of this is due to the invisible censorship regime. We know that Twitter and all mainstream media at the time censored alternative narratives including Google by policy.
The censorship system has only gotten more advanced. We need alternatives that are open source and accountable.

Do Kwon sits in jail for having over confidence Terra $LUNA. But how many crypto projects that eventually went to zero had founders that didn't act the same?
You don't create something that achieves a 40 billion mc w/o being confident in it -- and promoting it! And many of us had confidence in the mechanisms and they were brilliant and so were the alliances and safety measure Do was building / adding to Terra to ensure it could weather any storm....
But some Wall Street firm buys off a couple moles inside Terra and then uses their insider info to throw billions at an attack to bring it down -- and we blame Do Kwon for this criminal behavior?
No, fuck that-- Do Kwon needs to be released from jail; pardoned by @realDonaldTrump and set free. You don't lock a kid up for 15 years for believing in his creation ... and for following the advice of his biggest backers (Jump) to not name them as being part of a sweetheart deal in 2021 -- their request -- not Do's.
And if you say 'oh well he fucked up by not naming Jump anyway!' FFS have you ever been in business?
Today that effective altruism Jan Street slob✡️Robert Granieri - who personally recruited and mentored SBF and that beast Caroline Ellison is eating at Le Bernardin EVERY night while Do Kwon eats goy-slop in cage
Something needs to be done about this. As Do always said 'what was done in darkness will come to light'. Well, the light has finally begun to shine
@TheJusticeDept@SECGov literally WTF are you doing about this?
After almost 4 years Jane street is now getting exposed and i'm fucking furious
a quick walk through on what they did because this is insane,
> may 2022. terra/ust collapses. $40B gone in 3 days. people lost everything. life savings. retirement accounts. gone.
now we know jane street was behind it.
the lawsuit that dropped this week shows they had inside info.
a former terraform intern named bryce pratt joined jane street in 2021. he funneled insider information about terraform's liquidity moves to their trading desk.
> may 7, 2022: terraform quietly pulls $150 million from curve pool. no announcement. just a silent withdrawal.
ten minutes later. a wallet linked to jane street pulls $85 million from the same pool.
ten. minutes.
that withdrawal helped trigger the depeg. the death spiral started.
luna went from $80 to basically zero. $40 billion evaporated.
that crash killed celsius, three arrows capital, and eventually ftx.
$8 billion in ftx customer funds gone. sbf is in prison for 25 years.
jane street made record profits. $24 billion in revenue in just the first nine months of 2025.
where it gets even worse is,
they did the same shit in india. ran a pump and dump on bank nifty index for two straight years.
made $580 million. india's securities board caught them with receipts. called them "untrustworthy actors" who held "millions of small investors hostage."
banned them. froze $560 million in escrow.
jane street's response is appealing it while still operating everywhere else.
and then there's bitcoin.
for over a year, btc got slammed every single morning at 10am eastern. same time. every day.
guess who's an authorized participant for blackrock's bitcoin etf? jane street.
they held $5.7 billion in ibit shares. they're literally plugged into the pipes that move bitcoin in and out of institutional wrappers.
sell btc at the open. crash the price. liquidate the leveraged longs.
buy back cheaper. meanwhile they increased their mstr position by 473% while everyone else was selling.
and you know what happened after the lawsuit dropped?
the 10am dump stopped. for the first time in months.
bitcoin rallied 3% today. $323 million in shorts liquidated..
jane street made billions from every single collapse and just posted their most profitable quarter in wall street history.
this is the system bitcoin was designed to replace tbh.. and i hope it gets done and dusted after all this
🚨BREAKING THE CRIMEX: 21 Days Until 429M oz of Demand Meets 103M oz of Supply🚨
Clive Thompson dives into the data & breaks down exactly why the COMEX Silver Market looks like it is about to BREAK.
💥If the delivery rate matches January-February intensity (50-70%), we're looking at demands for 200-300 million ounces standing for delivery against available inventory of 85-103 million ounces. 💥
🔥Is the Long Anticipated COMEX Silver Default Only 3 Weeks Away?? 🔥
The COMEX silver market is showing unprecedented stress as we approach March 2026 delivery.
Using official CME warehouse reports & delivery data, this analysis reveals a systematic draining of physical silver that may result in a delivery shortfall within weeks.
THE CORE PROBLEM: As of February 5, 2026: March 2026 open interest: 429 million ounces COMEX registered silver inventory: 103.5 million ounces (and falling)
February 2026 delivery rate: 98% (18.72M oz delivered from 19.11M oz open interest)
Inventory drainage rate: 785,000 ounces per day January 2026 deliveries: 49.4 million ounces (7.27x the 2024 level)
If March 2026 sees even 25% of contracts stand for delivery, COMEX would need 107 million ounces - potentially more than will be available by first notice day (February 27).
If the delivery rate matches January-February intensity (50-70%), we're looking at demands for 200-300 million ounces standing for delivery against available inventory of 85-103 million ounces.

Wall Street is ROBBING YOU.
At what point does @SECGov actually DO SOMETHING about this fraudulent system?
Shut down the FED. Arrest the bankers, hedge fund managers, and market makers that are responsible for these crimes.
Americans and the world deserve better.
NEW: I'm investigating major grocery chains for spraying organic produce with pesticides without telling consumers.
It's not only wrong for grocers to mislead consumers about chemicals being sprayed on their food—it may very well be illegal.
Taxation is theft.
You can try to justify the theft. You can claim it’s a “social contract” or that the theft is for purposes of the “greater good”, you can say that the world won’t work without the theft— but you can’t accurately say it’s not theft. Taxes are stolen from the wages of citizens under force and threat of force. It’s absolutely theft. It’s theft based on the dictionary definition of the word and there’s no asterisk which says “*unless the theft is done by politicians” or / “it doesn’t count as theft if I like where the theft goes”.
Theft. Backed by violence. No other way to look at it. The reason so many have a hard time with this is because it so blatantly exposes the immorality of taxation.
The replies will no doubt side step this and not argue whether it’s theft or not but instead variations of “well who would build the roads and pay for police then?” It’s not an honest conversation unless we first acknowledge this reality: taxation is theft.
Difference is, Fuld knew to genuflect in the direction of his Wall Street masters to receive a pretend scolding on his way to be released to enjoy his filthy rotten lucre. And more importantly, his silence was certain and posed no risk to the system.
Scumbag gov't behavior is not a blanket excuse for fleeing justice.
However, Kwon's original "crime" was morally indistinguishable from Dick Fuld in 2007/08: getting high on OPM supply & and blowing up in size.
(But Dick Fuld never went to jail for that.)
Kwon upheld a fiduciary duty to TFL employees and tokenholders by fighting back as long and as stubbornly as he did, and it's a shame that that didn't seem to count for anything.
More on DO KWON SENTENCING:
$LUNA
I know hindsight is always 20/20 but super high profile defense teams like David Patton are supposed to know the most likely scenarios to play out with judges like Engelmeyer that as he told me; “he knows well”
Either that was a lie or the biggest fumble in lawyering or a straight up set up. Let me explain
If Patton knew Engelmeyer was the libterd egomaniac he is looking to etch himself in the jewdicial history books by sacrificijg a crypto pioneer’s life then why didn’t he encourage Do to go to trial? Taking a plea and admitting guilt turned out to be a suicide mission before such a biased and self grandiosizing judge looking for a landmark case which would allow him to virtue signal to the entire world what mensch he is to the downtrodden
Did Patton ‘know’ the judge as he assured me? I believe he did. Did he underestimate the judge’s hubris? I doubt it. You see Patton was fumbling and bumbling through the entire day. Was he hung over, on painkillers, unprepared, or just not the lawyer people think he was? I think it’s safe to say that well respected professionals like himself — don’t turn into babbling stammering fools overnight. Even a reporter commented to me at break in the elevator that Patton was usually ‘a lot more sharp’ and ‘on his game’. Not on his game for the biggest sentencing of the past few years? What? It smells like fixed fight to me.
👉🏻And I’m guessing the main fixing took place mainly before Do Kwon and his wife —- convincing them they were confident to secure 5 years or thereabouts for our boy. How sweet that must have sounded to Do’s wife and family and perhaps to Do himself in 2-3 years i could be coming home!
But after sitting through that entire lopsided abomination of a sentencing I’ve concluded that Do’s legal team led by David Patton conspired to this very end result of 15 years. But they never get this imho IF they conduct a real and thorough trial by jury of regular people’s. It would be a tough case fore sure but one if the work was put in could easily win over a handful of jurors and free Do Kwon
The legal team cashed in -in a massive way for years —only to urge surrender to angel of jewdicial death Engelmeyer and save themselves from having to do any real work. Perhaps work they were not capable of. Because none of them seem to have any grasp on crypto and its culture on a deeper level — this was manifest in their bumblings and failure to execute or explain that Do’s crypto personality was little more than crypto memey fun and games. I and a myriad of others could have taken the stand to explain this with clarity — to draw the jury into our crypto culture and make sense of everything IN CONTEXT. Sometimes noobs need the jokes explained. Didn’t they know this? If not how not?
How many times did we hear the judge refer to the ‘have fun being poor’ tweets and the like. And how many times did he refer to (bogus) victim letters of ‘steady lads’ and ‘deploying more capital’ —- I lost count. The high paid defense offered no explanation because with Do’s guilty plea their mission was accomplished — ring that cash register again and go down a few bottles of scotch and call it a day while your paralegals process heaps of paperwork
The reverence and deference that Do Kwons legal team had for judge Engelmeyer was something more akin to being cuckolded than it was to respect. Is this healthy? If it was honest cuckoldry it must have been of the humiliation variety because that shit was just weird and highly uncomfortable to watch. I felt like I was watching a highly scripted show with Patton tossing the underhanded softballs just right in the heart of the plate so Engelmeyer could just smash the ball over the wall —-time and time again. Not one fastball not one curve. Just David Patton t-ball
Let’s be clear: Terraform Labs or Do Kwon never claimed $UST was ‘risk-free.’ The whitepaper was public. The code was open. The mint/burn mechanism worked, until it was weaponized. You don’t jail engineers for broken symmetry. #CodeIsLaw#FreeDoKwon
@BasedMikeLee It’s almost like having representation that DIDN’T funnel the sheep into a false dichotomy would be beneficial. If the vote for governor is tainted, this is what you get.
@goud4utah@GovCox Little guy seems agitated. Also, why is Brian leaning sideways? Either he has back trouble or he’s afraid of Cox smacking him for asking hard questions.
In the Do Kwon/Terra vs. SEC fraud trial, the defense team included deposition from Evgeny Gaevoy, the co-founder of crypto trading firm Wintermute as proof of a "shorting attack"
Gaevoy admits to shorting the Terra ecosystem despite getting a 300K LUNA loan to be a market maker
