@TheWitchOfArt IF the incident that happened with Dess was caused by Kris then... perhaps sadness? Asgore went down the rabbit hole because of it and became obsessed with the idea of finding the culprit which made him neglectful of his family, Kris thinking that they themself were the reason -

@AJ_Fallacious @images_i_hate2 I hope that he focused on writing a good story rather than care if it's predictable or not, the only thing we can deduce is that Dess is the Knight, we don't know how or why which is more important for the story to be good

@images_i_hate2 Which is why people calling Carol the red herring is really funny because hello she's on screen for like five seconds and all we get of it is that she has a katana in her kitchen? If she's a red herring then what was all the other stuff with Dess that came before that??

@SenseiTomato @images_i_hate2 Furthermore Toby already made a character with the same idea of tragically dying and being turned into something monstrous, it's Flowey, just has more potential to be flashed out in a bigger and more complex story

@SenseiTomato @images_i_hate2 The Knight was taking people since the day Dess disappeared, which would imply that the Knight manifested on that same day, it's obvious storywise that Dess is the Knight but we are still yet to see how it's gonna be revealed and addressed in other two 10+ hour chapters

@images_i_hate2 You can have stuff like CarolKnight and RudyKnight exist because these theories are fun and stuff but it would genuinely be insane if Dess is not the Knight and the only other alternative that would be narratively satisfying is kinda only CarolKnight which people don't really fw

@images_i_hate2 DessKnight shouldn't even be a question tbf, it's pretty much heavy handed to the player, having an entire Dess section in chapter 3 with a song that's called "Raise up your bat" just for the knight with antlers to appear and use a weapon that looks like a bat, who could it be?

@YourHostKaz He made his little RPG for you that was tinkered with by another entity that we have no knowledge of, he's not evil but he's still willing to see you break it in the most horrifying ways possible, I think it would be funny if the ending for WR is gaster saying "that was fucked up
