Tomorrow, I will bring you my review findings of the Emurua Dikirr CDF.

Yes - this is the CDF under Johana Ng'eno - who just passed away in an accident.

And yes - that is the man who owns the house in the first picture.

Can you I give a taste of what to expect?

In 2023-2024 - out of the slightly over KSH 200 million the CDF received, a whopping KSH 52 million - which the CDF claimed to have spent on "bursaries" - HAVE NO SUPPORT whatsoever.

No names of students, school - nothing.

In just 2023-2024.

In 2020-2021, a claimed "transfer" of Kshs.12,100,000 to a Medical Training College could not be confirmed because:

Quoting the Auditor General:

"The Principal of the College denied receipt of funds from the Fund and confirmed that no Project Management Committee bank account exists where the amount could have been banked. In addition, the transfer of Kshs.12,100,000 was disbursed without a joint financing agreement specifying the particular phase or phases, assets or any other defined unit of the project. No work plans were provided for use of the funds.

Another one:

In 2020-2021, the CDF claimed to have spent KSH 38,001,500 on bursaries.

But guess what: Out of this KSH 38,001,500 "disbursed to beneficiaries" only Kshs.937,000 was supported - leaving the balance of Kshs.37,064,500 unsupported.

KSH 37,064,500 in claimed bursaries had absolutely no support.

No names. No schools. No payment records.
