I think a lot of people miss what the author was trying to explore.
Rudy wasn’t introduced as a role model. He was introduced as someone who wasted his life after years of bullying, isolation, and shutting himself off from the world.
People like that exist in real life today. They’re socially withdrawn, emotionally stunted, and escape into fantasy because reality has completely defeated them.
The fantasy isn’t there to reward Rudy’s past. It’s there to ask a question:
“If someone who completely failed at life was given a genuine second chance, could they become a better person?”
You don’t have to like Rudy. You don’t have to forgive everything he does.
But reducing the entire story to “the author supports this behavior” ignores the larger theme of redemption, growth, and rebuilding a life from absolute rock bottom.
Sometimes it’s worth asking what a story is trying to explore instead of assuming it’s endorsing every action its protagonist takes.

I think, to clarify, every Gacha game has a talented, passionate group of developers behind it, that has their vision for the game.
Whether it's a game like LaDS with a FMC targeting Male characters, NIKKE or Chasing Kaleidorider with a MMC targeting Female characters, or Dual Main Characters like Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, Neverness to Everness, Arknights Endfield, Silver Palace etc., with both Female and Male Main Characters, targeting both Female and Male characters.
However, contrary to some people's beliefs, not every Gacha game caters to all 3 demographics, nor should they.
Everyone deserves their game/games. Nobody should try and force the developers to try and change their game to suit the small minority of players that are clearly not the target demographic of said game. Instead, people should just play the games they want, enjoy the games they want, and if a game they want to try doesn't appeal to them or cater to them in the way they feel they should be, just leave and play something else. It's that simple.
There are plenty of Husbando Gacha games out there. Love and Deepspace, Silent Whispers, Reign of Nightfall. There are plenty of Waifu Gacha games out there. Snowbreak, Brown Dust 2, NIKKE. And also plenty in-between. Path to Nowhere, Arknights, Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, and so many more.
Instead of invading spaces that aren't meant for you, instead of trying to guilt developers, or attack other communities for not being inclusive enough for you (this applies to ALL communities,) just play the games you like, just enjoy the games you enjoy, and you'll honestly live a MUCH more peaceful, fulfilling life.
These are just video games. If you don't like one, play another one.
never sat right with me how "the power of friendship" is generally seen as this infantile deus ex machina trope i feel ppl are under underappreciating the strength of genuine human connection
Sedangkan istri punya peran mulia mengurus rumah tangga & mendidik anak, tapi bukan budak.
So, nikah yang bener, ya guys. Jangan ikut-ikutan narasi yang rusak fitrah. 🔥
To everyone abroad:
The person quoted doesn’t know kimono.
In Japan, we’ve matched zukin (hoods) & kimono for ages. Wearing it with a hijab is totally fine!
Thank you for your interest in Japanese culture.
From a Kyoto resident who wears kimono daily.
@Pirowhi Nobody talks about the fact that the damage you do by consuming geeky media at a very young age is that during your puberty you're hitting the cringiest poses and lines on planet earth
