@alonso_Isidoro If you believe your partner will stop respecting you just because you cry in front of them, then you’re with the wrong person. You deserve someone who makes you feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Love shouldn’t require you to hide your emotions.
@cursedPhysics Not at all! During my last relationship, I even paid for my boyfriend’s therapy sessions because of his anxiety. I encouraged him to seek a diagnosis, and finding out he was autistic finally gave him some peace. Caring about your partner’s mental health is basic human decency.
@IvanCrdena66797 Please remember to take care of your mental health. No girl who treats you poorly defines whether you’re worthy of love. Don’t let unkind people dim your ability to love and care for others. I wish you the best! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
@Jasona4w@protectdiaoyud1 Feminism isn’t a single, homogeneous ideology. There are different branches, and I’m an intersectional feminist. I believe in equity as a means of achieving equality for everyone, regardless of gender, race, sexuality, class or background. They’re not opposing concepts ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
@wallacejohnchon@Nylowalk Your girlfriend leaving you doesn’t mean women want emotionally unavailable men. It means your relationship didn’t work out. Stop projecting your experience onto all women.
@wallacejohnchon@Nylowalk Your friend crying to you doesn’t prove that women reject emotional men. You’re taking one painful experience and turning it into a generalisation about all women. I’m sorry your girlfriend left, but that doesn’t mean women don’t want emotionally vulnerable partners.
@pkingoodog11 ADHD .. I understand, I have ADHD too. Are you doing okay? It sounds like you’ve had some really bad experiences, but it’s not fair to generalise. I hope you find a good girl.
@pkingoodog11 Honestly. I don’t know any women like that. And a man’s worth isn’t defined by how much money he has. What kind of women do you have in your life?
@wallacejohnchon@Nylowalk We’re all still part of society, so it’s still social pressure. And no, it’s not because of women. It’s always been this way for men, and it was imposed by other men.
@SomeonesSwords My friends feel the same way I do, yet we still get cheated on. Sometimes we just choose the wrong people. Wanting a healthy relationship doesn’t make us a minority. I know good men exist, too, and when I find one, I won’t let him go. ♡
