Being true to the broken parts of us will take us to places we never intended to go and keep us distracted from God.

The Problem of Pain
We can look back on our lives and focus on either beauty or pain. It’s our choice.
To focus on beauty isn’t to deny the pain. It’s just refusing to let it steal anything else from us.
Walk a couple miles in someone else’s journey & I can almost guarantee... we’d be less harsh, less apt to think we’d do better, less tempted to think we know stuff we don’t. And much more willing to give them a bandaid for their blisters, a kind prayer & a cold glass of lemonade.
