@WesleyBout For obsession, I would say the film takes an obvious stance when it switches pov’s once in order to show Inde’s character essentially losing all humanity and agency. The film knows, the film disapproves, would love to hear what exactly you’d rather have included in execution.

@WesleyBout See I feel that Backrooms chooses to focus on the atmospheric horror and feeling of being watched/followed and adds just enough character work to justify their motivations and actions. Disagree with it or not, It is a creative choice that deserves more respect.
