You don't need to push yourself to run fast
Run easy for 80~90% of your total time of running, and push yourself only for 10~20%.
If you are just starting, I recommend going 99% easy and relaxed, and push 1% to work on speed.

50km race done!
Didnt go the way I wanted. My leg muscles felt like they were asleep.
But so grateful to be able to do this and finish without any injuries.
Will rest, enjoy, and back to the drawing board and figure out what went wrong in the preparation

Day 2much more focus on maintaining breathing and form. Got tired and walked a little after about 10 minuets. Then I remembered @PranavJandial coming up behind me at last years session and pushing me to keep going! Gonna be a whole new man this year. @mindfulruncoach@5minRunClub

Saturday is a 50km race so taking it easy this week. Letโs keep going ๐ฅ
Week 1 Day 1. Missed yesterday so was planning on a 15 min run but it tuned into a 2.2 mile grind. Mile cool down walk with Emmett. Super thankful for the program ๐๐ผ @mindfulruncoach@5minRunClub going to be less stubborn and focus on time the next 4 weeks. Go be uncomfortable.
