All this doc talk today has me thinking about Kobe.

His last year with the Lakers, he had his own crew following him around. Not NBAE. His people. He wanted to keep that kind of control over how his own story got told.

There's a whole season of the late, great Kobe sitting in a vault right now, and he'd already watched some of the cuts himself before he passed.

I hope we get to see it someday, put together the way he wanted it.
