@globaledcon @IBPBLJill @hsingmaster Using a passion project idea, create the framework and allow students to decide what problem they want to tackle! This would take quite a bit more freedom but would also increase student ownership

A5. Having students self assess along the way using checkmarks as guides. IE. complete 1 interview with a peer close to home, research a school/organization to interview further from home, complete 1 interview with chosen school/organization.

@Cory_Cummings1 That is awesome. I had a student that was in the middle of working through a passion project creating a new political party that fit "how kids feel" about politics. I think it is so great to get kids involved in social justice and realizing that politics are for humans of any age
