…it’s just that the way we absorb the info is different. Our habits have changed. Phones are (currently) made to be vertically-scrolled while books are (mostly) meant to be horizontally-flipped. Maybe in the future, we’ll have virtual comic? Like you just ‘immerse’ in it.

Interesting arguments. I’ve experienced the ‘war’ between manga and webtoon as both a reader and creator myself. When I switched to making webtoons (because of my skills lol), I found myself to be reading less manga. I think the amount of info is the same, it’s just that the…

The sudden thought of using 3d to make my webcomic popped in my head ~2 years ago and completely changed my workflow. I continued and this is where I am now. (and am still a nobody tho xd)

I see👀 In the US, I only know VIZ who’s doing these. I think there’s a larger portion of creators who is not aiming to debut in Japan. I heard there are similar things going for webcomics/webtoons, but it’s also difficult for me. Common ppl getting guidance is rare in the US.

🇯🇵 Whenever I see Japanese anime from the 80s and 90s I'm just amazed at how beautiful the lighting/colors were. It looks so gorgeous.

It’s 2026, and AI is now at this level. Yes, it is an awful model now but hey, it somehow identified the hair strands, it also knows to use a spherical mesh for the head and cylinder for the neck. I’m really scared at what level it will be five years from now🤯 Scary.
