BREAKING: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell makes the shocking confession that Republicans are intentionally sabotaging the border to help Trump win the 2024 election.

It's astonishing that he would admit to plotting something so truly indefensible...

For months, Democrats and Republicans have been crafting bipartisan legislation that would tighten immigration restrictions and also provide much-needed aid to Ukraine.

Now, Republicans don't want to move forward with it after all of that work because they're afraid fixing our immigration problems would help Biden in the election. They'd rather let the problem worsen then let Biden get credit for anything.

During a closed-door meeting with Republicans this week, McConnell suggested splitting the immigration and Ukraine funding initiatives into different bills.

"When we started this, the border united us and Ukraine divided us," said McConnell, according to a source knowledgable about the remarks.

"The politics on this have changed," McConnell went on, explaining that a chaotic border situation is advantageous for Trump. The ex-president can't run on fixing immigration if immigration is already fixed.

"We don’t want to do anything to undermine him," said McConnell. "We’re in a quandary."

Clearly, despite all of their ranting and whining, Republicans don't actually care about the border situation. They care about exploiting it — and the suffering that flows from it — for cheap political points.

Every single Republican running to be the party's nominee for president is against unions.

DeSantis blames the strike on Biden’s electric-vehicle incentives, calling the move a big threat to the auto industry and autoworkers. As usual DeSantis is wrong,

Actually, it will help the automakers who will receive incentives for building EV so they need workers now. The planet can't afford for Americans to move forward in the automotive industry without changes.

Nikki Haley said she is proud to be a union buster. She thinks unions get emboldened and ask for things that companies have a tough time doing.

Since when is asking for better salaries and benefits to live being emboldened?

Tim Scott wants every union member on strike to be fired. The UAW filed a labor complaint against Scott over his suggestion.

Basically, Scott and his draconian mindset asks the question how dare people strike for better salaries and benefits in America?

Christie thinks Biden is dictating company polices by being pro-union.

So supporting better wages has become dictating policy?

Pence thinks decisions about wages should be made by company shareholders without government mandates or pressure.

Is Pence so dumb he actually believes that will happen?

Ramaswamy thinks it is Biden fault that the cost of living wages has not risen for the autoworkers.

He is just a dumba$$ if he thinks the Big Three Automakers care at all.

And last but not least is Trump who lies so much it is hard to know what he thinks.

Who cares anyway? He will be in jail.

If any GOP candidate was into truth they would say the truth, AUW workers are primarily demanding higher wages and an end to a tiered wage system — issues that are unrelated to the clean-energy transition policies put forth by President Biden.

Don't forget some of the high management at the Big Three Automakers are making 300 times what the average workers are making.

That is just immoral.
