@DianeKrenzMN For those that dont know what that means. For assault 2nd, part of the law defines the weapon (609.11, ie gun knife etc) and it imposes a 36 month prison sentence. However 609.11 can be dismissed by prosecutors..which eliminates the go to prison aspect..happens all the time
