@heitner@NILnotNLI I think it’s fair for the schools to make the rules regarding eligibility . I also think it’s fair for the players to chose to skip college if they don’t like said rules and its not a good fit for them .
@TonyLiebert There are 4 WI kids in the class rated higher than Boubacarr and none stayed home. Fans want closed borders but kids don’t give two shits about staying home and being a legend anymore .
@heitner If the 15 schools that turn a profit want to break off and negotiate with players they certainly can do so .But when 90 plus percent of the members lose money to provide kids these opportunities there is nothing to negotiate unless they want to share in the losses with taxpayers
@WinterSportsLaw Is it like standard that then you can’t change a policy you have to grandfather every one in so nobody gets their feelings hurt ? It’s such a Wierd concept that colleges can’t decide how long they want players to be eligible in their league .
@iAmNickWize Everyone agrees there are worse things . You don’t have to be a saint to play in the league …that said the one death sentence is betting on your own team regardless if you played or not or how little the bet was . Knowing that skeleton was in his closet his agents did him dirty
@jeffwagnerradio They are in no hurry . The are winning fans at an incredible rate . No one guys holding them back so with these young guys they can mar the move when bight the team and player are ready .
@ChrisMurphyCT@cbgjada2 LSU women’s basketball loses 8 million a year . If a scholarship isn’t good enough thre really is no compelling argument why such a team should exist .
@DavidBakhtiari@NFLPA@NFL Is this satire or are NFL players actually mad they didn’t get a free ticket into a World Cup game ? This has to be satire , right ?
@heitner@Charles20212014 What they would receive in return is an education , room and board an a chance to hone their skills in their desired profession . I am a huge sports fan and love my state university but if that’s not enough I would support zero tax payer $ going towards college athletics.
