A few days late to this, but I’m saddened to learn that @heavyweight is to become a Spotify exclusive.

I really, truly love that podcast, but I simply can’t support platform exclusivity in podcasting. If I can’t listen through Overcast, then I can’t listen at all.

I became aware of That Intimate Feeling when the creator popped up in my mentions after I’d put a shout out for things to listen to. That first episode blew me away. It was beautifully sound designed and written. Hit me right where I needed it to.

@rumblestripvt It’s funny really, a few months back I was going mad trying to find the energy I needed to make more stuff, desperate to keep momentum otherwise I’d lose what little following I have.

But now I’m kinda ok with it. No one’s actually chasing me for podcasts, I’m not losing money.
