🚨 Darlington Council has signed off TWELVE translation contracts worth up to £720,000.

Seriously, why?!

Darlington has around 107,000 residents.

Roughly 8,400 weren’t born in the UK. And of course, many of those people will speak English.

Yet somehow the council has signed off 12 separate translation contracts worth up to £60,000 each.

No wonder the council is £170m in debt!

Then remember…

We all carry a device in our pocket that can translate almost any language in seconds for free.

Yet our public sector continues spending tens of millions on translation every year.

Honestly… what are we doing?

Our government is always saying it is short of money.
Here’s a very simple way to save some……..
Stop sending £133 million a year to Pakistan.
£150 million to Afghanistan.
£78.8 million to Syria.
£52.8 million to Ethiopia.
£83.9 million to Somalia.
Our priority should be financing the Services in our OWN country. NOT squandering £billions overseas.
