After 12 years the first cadet flight with @611VGS took place from @RAFHonington on Sat 16 March. Well done to Fg Off McClymont who was awarded the honour of the being the captain on the first flight. Well done as well to the rest of 611 VGS on this milestone! @fts_2 @2ftsCamp

With the return of air experience flying for all, cadets will slowly see AEF flying available over the coming months as regional aviation officers agree timings with AEF flying commanders.

The Station was glad to accept the invite from Royal British Legion Bury St Edmunds at the Dedication Service for the Branch's New Standard held at the Cathedral yesterday.

Had a wonderful visit to 611 VGS at RAF Honington today. Great to see the progress they are making in their Return to Flying. Huge thanks to the OC, Tony, and his team of dedicated Volunteers, as well as the CGS staff supporting each weekend they operate. I love 611!
