@TootyKorn2 @ThunderWolf08 If you’ve never lived in a cold climate before I think it might be a bit of a shock, but you’ll get used to the cold and putting on a jacket isn’t so bad.
@TootyKorn2 @ThunderWolf08 Granted I grew up and lived in Minneapolis for 20 years and am itching to go back as soon as possible, but the winters really are not that bad. It’s anecdotal, but it feels like they get more mild each year. In the winter the bus stops are heated and the bike lanes are plowed
@KihneSheila@NortonMpls Ma’am why do you feel a need to mock Mr. Norton? Don’t get me wrong, I also like bikes, but I really feel like if he wants to ride his bike to work in his part of the country, and you want to do whatever you want in yours, then we should be able to do that?
@SloaneFragment I understand you’re just expressing your disappointment and I believe you have every right to be upset-
But this is the kind of verbiage that lost us the election. These guys don’t understand when we’re making hyperbole. To win next time we need to make it more obvious I fear
We won't mince words. The reelection of Donald Trump is a disaster for the Boundary Waters. This is not hyperbole. This is not a case of Trump-Derangement Syndrome. This is based on Trump’s campaign promises and attacks he has already made on the Boundary Waters.🧵

This guy has been in the presidential political sphere doing the same stuff since I was in 6th grade. I never thought I’d have to vote against him tbh. Field Middle School was silent the day after the 2016 election
The most college thing I’ve done today is bead my tubeless 27.5x2.8inch mountain bike tire on one of these things (which I love, and think we should have more of)
@jambojeremy Being from MN, it also shocked me when I told my college roommates to vote by mail and my friend from Texas had to mail in an application for a ballot, wait for them to mail back an approval, and then finally be able to get his ballot mailed to him to vote.
