Such a treat to work on this project with great colleagues. Our bold vision for Sussex includes active transport improvements, new public spaces, water access, renaturalization, and space for Indigenous placemaking.

This design concept is guided by five themes: connection, animation, Indigeneity, nature, and water. Active transportation is at the heart of the plan.
@CapitalCity613@DevineSean @NSaravanamuttoo Wellington is wide enough that I think it’s totally possible to do a tram and an adjacent public space. Tunnel will cost $500M+ and make extensions a non-starter due to cost and complexity with the canal.
@PhillyGov@RM_Transit ok so that’s a no. Anyways, most Canadians are much happier up here on our own in a safer, more tolerant, and functional society. We undoubtedly have our problems but when it comes to joining the US, it’s a hard no.
@PhillyGov@RM_Transit even if the culture were common (they’re not. Do some research on the proud and beautiful nation of Québec), your pro-annexation position fails to recognize that the vast majority of Canadians do not want to be part of the USA and would soundly reject that in a referendum.
The city should be moving in the opposite direction, creating a u-pass for all students 18 and under working with the student transportation authorities and create life long transit users.
ridiculous metric. All this shows is that Ottawa has a land use and transportation system that does not incentivize transit or walking for late night trips
