Our Roses earned their First Aid badge practicing care for temp-related illness, diabetic response (with some glucose taste testing!), glove removal, deck extensions, & musculoskeletal immobilization.
Future lifeguards? Just might be! 🛟

We were very excited to be able to plant Easter bulbs in the flowerbeds of our generous hosts, St. Paul's UMC West Deptford. We also added some fun spring decor to celebrate the start of the warmer weather!

Our newest Bronze Patrol, Claws for a Cause, has been raising funds for their perch project, figuring out the most affordable raw materials, and went shopping - construction is next!
We’re so proud of their spirit and drive.

Another year, another Cookie Rally.
In advance of the start of the 2026 Cookie Season (starting THIS THURSDAY the 15th!), our Roses got ready to flex their sales muscles! Get ready - cookies are coming for you, too!

One of our favorite things about our Roses getting older is that they can move thru many stations independently, focusing time on their specific interests and goals, which they did at this years craft-themed holiday party!

Self care - an important priority, and one that we focused on at this week’s meeting earning our Science of Happiness badge with our teen volunteer Annaztasia!
Great strategies to try when navigating through life!

“Tireless guardian of our way,
Thou has kept us well today.
While we thank thee, we request,
Care continued, pardon rest.”
An amazing Friendsgiving with this Rose Family.

Our current 6th graders experienced their last Bronze Award recognition ceremony last night, provided with proclamations from West Deptford Township. We’re so incredibly proud of the impact these girls have made in their community.

We had an AMAZING Sunday at Rancocas Nature Center: we made art & music, night hiked, saw Saturn’s rings, ate pawpaw fruits, communed with fauna, told scary stories, made s’mores, got dirty, and made it home late on a school night!

We kicked off this year’s Scouting calendar with an awesome archery workshop - might have even found a new sport for a couple of these Roses. 🏹

Our RAIN Group finished their DIY Beach Clean Up station at RiverWinds Point this week, fulfilling their requirements for their Bronze Awards.
Pride doesn’t even begin to cover it.

This summer, we were thrilled to be able to host our 6th Annual Bridging Ceremony for our Roses, celebrating seven years of scouting together (having missed a Bridging opportunity in the spring of 2020). So proud!

Last night was our traditional Rose Games, the last meeting of the year with games and friendly competition (and if we throw some scouting lore in there, does anyone even notice?). It was a night filled with laughter and friends.
