@StevenMandrapa@elonmusk@GailAlfarATX I've always felt we could amend US constitution to add a fourth branch with only line item veto power (against legislature *and* SCOTUS). Lottery selection, at least one hundred strong, out of DC.
*Very* well paid, to take sting out of selection and minimize temptation.
I don't condone violent protests. If anyone asked me, I'd advise against them.
But I sure as hell understand why some young people, men in particular, may feel the urge to protest violently at present time.
Layered nickelates kept the same key electronic signature even when their atomic layers stacked differently, pointing to a shared pattern beneath superconductivity. @NaturePhysics https://t.co/Pz86MdyIA9
@astro_jaz Without a perfectly representational mix of astronauts, orbit cannot be maintained on latest systems. The new diversity breathalyzer throttle was a major addition.
A small price to pay for representation, although I feel a bit sorry for current crew as they plummet post launch.
A good example of what I mean. There is a hint of understanding of correct approach here, somewhat undermined by the fact the claim appears untrue and then FRAUD!!! makes an appearance.

@HJablowmi1234 CA allows ballots to be collected after election day without postmarks -- they can be self-dated by voters. There's no way to verify a ballot is legit when that's the case. Yes, critics can't prove fraud -- but CA can't prove it's not occurring as a matter of policy, either.
Watching some Repubs staggering towards the correct conclusions. The correct conclusion is not FRAUD!!!
They should either:
1. Attack the flawed voting process in leftist states. Fraud is downstream, if it exists in large quantities.
2. Learn to cheat better themselves.
Will be difficult to fix local elections. I don't know the legal mechanisms beyond a constitutional amendment that will never happen. Best options are probably via the postal service or mandating in person Fed elections and then hoping for trickle down.
@CptHastings1916 Compassion overruling incentive analysis as long as problems remain below personal belief threshold tolerance. Yikes.
Essentially, children masquerading as adults.
@__hand_banana I always say that I want to serve on the jury because every previous time the lawyers dismissed me before anyone else.
I always get dismissed first.
If any devs were to read this they'd laugh and call me a fool. Perhaps. I tend to be a slow adopter and, once burned, am slow to go back. Often a good idea, bad idea in this case.
Old Codex desktop sucked. This one rocks.
"so the new generic upload route lands in the grain of the existing code instead of becoming a sidecar."
I've never been a fan of tech lingo. Even less of a fan of AI tech lingo.
@MatthewSitman I don't believe we have widespread election fraud in US. I don't give a shit who wins LA mayoral election.
But the election process in CA sucks, is open to abuse, and that abuse is being protected legally.
People are not wrong to suspect fire where there is heavy smoke.
Best spin: Trump knows Israel hit Beirut to force response from Iran to restart bombing and he doesn't like it, so he said no.
Israel supposed to ignore being attacked so Trump can exit his mess? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Iran's "proposal" indicates they believe they can troll their way to victory.
Considering world's reaction to the US/Israel war initiation and Trump's nerves, they could well be correct.
