The senate preparing to go on vacation again is pure bullshit. One of the most important bills in our lifetime needs to be passed and all we are given are excuses as to why it can’t be done. In 1787, 55 men spent from May to Sept locked in a room every day. Doors locked and windows closed during the hottest Philadelphia summer in 40 years. 55 men 55 different opinions. All sworn to secrecy, no leaks to the press. They knew they needed to replace the Articles of Confederation and come up with a paper that would unite all 13 states. The country was on the brink of failure. They debated argued and yes even fighting. But they got the job done. Giving us our Constitution. Today it’s nothing but damn excuses.

With my mother, I can attest to “rehab” after hospitalization is a reality for the elderly. Age, physical mobility and cognitive decline can extend stay to several months. A few weeks in the hospital bed can set an elderly patient back months physically. Getting back is hard for them.
I don’t believe Mitch is still with us. But, if he is in fact at a rehab facility, he shouldn’t be serving in congress. He needs to retire!!! GTFO and step aside.

I may be wrong but I don’t see @VP doing that unfortunately. He’s a politician. I believe that would destroy his chances to run for President.
