Art of Living pioneered the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan' more than a decade ago. Since then, over 1 crore 80 lakh youth across the country - from Kashmir to Kanyakumari - have taken the pledge against substance abuse through programs conducted in numerous colleges and educational institutions. The movement has also played a significant role in the rehabilitation of lakhs of young people.
I am glad that the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has now taken up this mission nationwide on a larger scale.

On 26 Jan 2018, Chandan was waving the Indian flag when he was ambushed by a Muslim mob that snatched the flag and asked him to chant Pakistan Zindabad. When Chandan refused, he was brutally murdered. NGOs helped the murderers instead of Chandan’s family.

A truly secular state shouldn’t fund the salaries of religious leaders from any community. Respect for all religions means keeping state policies neutral and focusing resources on public welfare. Equal treatment, not selective support, upholds true secularism.

Imams protesting against non-payment of salary. 30 years ago Supreme court ordered salaries be paid to Delhi's Imams. 3 years ago Kejriwal increased the amount to Rs 18,000 a month. State doesn't pay remuneration to Hindu priests.
