As this historic result starts to reverberate across the country, let's just take a moment to remember all the people that said what Starmer's Labour did today could not be done.
I know we're all having a good laugh because it's the end of the season and that, but this team is a disaster defensively. And we won't be anywhere near the title next year unless it's fixed. #LFC
Because what this game needs is for Nunez to run around like a blind giraffe, smack the ball into his own face from a yard out and get caught offside 72 times in 10 minutes.
@AlanFrankN But last night was mainly down to players not prepared to compete or put in the effort needed to win a league. Though some of the substitutions were a bit of a head-scratcher.
@AlanFrankN Always thought he was one of the more honest managers and takes more than his share of the blame when things go wrong. Players have looked knackered/ complacent / distracted for a few months now, and some of them just aren't that good, which he has to take some of the blame for.
Glad Salah scored, cos can't be accused of knee-jerkery. But week after week I end up thinking that I've never known a more frustrating player. For someone with such an impressive scoring record, he's consistently wasteful, consistently awful decision making. Does my head in.
