@angryasian@CochlearUS @CatEarsLLC I used them before I went deaf but it’s recommended not to use my Cochlear devices while participating in “impact”sports. It also doesn’t help that there’s not a large enough helmet to fit them comfortably under. 20 year IBD veteran so I tried them all. #kask#giro#poc#62cm
Hey @angryasian any recommendations on products for deaf or HOH cyclists to get back out on the road? Lost all my hearing 5yrs ago and stopped because I can’t hear cars or the traffic. Thought about the Garmin Varia Vision but thought it might be more of a distraction.
@angryasian I live in San Diego so a little bit of everything in regards to traffic. I ride solo too because I feel like I’d be more of a liability on group rides. I also have @CochlearUS implants but don’t ride with them on due to wind noise.
We reached 3k finally!
We'll be announcing the winner on October 21, 2020!
Till then, like and retweet the below tweet to have a chance to win a RC4WD 1985 Toyota 4Runner Hard Body Complete Set!
@FeltBicycles Welcome to my world! Since loosing all my hearing 4 years ago I stayed off the road because I couldn’t hear cars. Stayed away from group rides because I couldn’t hear riders calling out things. Alone with your thoughts it can get quite noisy. Focus and tranquility = revelations.
