What has been the most influential car for you, the one that changed your entire style the first time you saw it?

I’ll start: Seeing Haruguchi’s 326 Power RX-7 for the first time in the early 2013 Tumblr and zilivia days was mind blowing. Stance was just starting to rise, and when I learned that this RX 7 already looked like that back in 2002, I couldn’t believe it. That hot boy, big kit, big wheel, low style had been done more than ten years before I ever saw it in America.

Chevrolet Corvette, a car that with every generation stuck to its core purpose and just kept getting better and better, up to the C6 generation, which in my opinion was the absolute peak of Corvettes. The C7 was a slight drop off, and the C8… well, don’t get me started on that abomination.

The Corvette C6.R, built by Pratt & Miller, debuted in 2005 and became a dominant endurance racer. Its GT1 version closely followed the C5 R formula, powered by a Katech built 7.0 liter V8 producing 590 hp. Competing at Le Mans and in the American Le Mans Series, the C6.R proved to be a massive success for Chevrolet.

The Safari Rally Championship was the ultimate test of endurance, pushing both drivers and machines beyond their limits. In the early ’90s, Toyota showed Japan could rival Europe’s rally dominance, with the Celica GT-Four ST185 making history at the 1993 Safari Rally. Unlike typical WRC events, the brutal terrain demanded spare tires, crash bars, and snorkels. I love the Safari’s aesthetics..arguably the most photogenic race in existence.

the infamous Abflug Mazda RX7. Abflug styling is not for the faint of heart. brash loud crazy colors crazy kits but surprisingly on this Mazda FD3S RX7 it hits. also known as the Pink Spider the car is still active to this day owned by a Mid Night member
