In the 17th century a malicious false accusation of witchcraft was often sufficient to see an innocent person destroyed publicly & often put to death. These days a false allegation of rape or sexual abuse serves much the same purpose. For some liars a suicide is seen as a bonus.

There are many motives for the making of malicious false sexual accusations, but some liars clearly derive a sadistic thrill from humiliating & ruining their victims. It takes a certain deeply warped & dangerous mindset to deliberately drive an innocent person to commit suicide.
