Poor families in England used to all collect their pee in a pot that could be sold for a farthing a bucket - if you had to do this, you were “piss poor.” When you were so skint you had to sell your bucket, you ‘Didn’t have a pot to piss in!’ 🤓

@theJeremyVine The van was definitely in the wrong but pretty obvious to an experienced cyclists what was going to happen next - I’d have waited - the van driver would have completed their manoeuvre - I’d have lost no more time than other road users have to allow for me sometimes
