@TimothyOHare@theBranch While city council member your Timothy O'Hare recommended cutting funding for the children of undocumented immigrants attending a summer youth program.
”Suffer the little children…” must mean something other than what I was taught. #readlocal@DTFortWorth@lsptex
This is Ken Paxton's mugshot.
He was indicted on 3 felony counts for investment fraud.
He was reported to the FBI by his own staff for bribery.
He was impeached by his own party for corruption.
Now he’s the Republican nominee for US Senate in Texas.
Together we will stop him.
Donald Trump just stole $1.7B from us — and he's creating a slush fund to reward his political allies.
I've never seen anything like this in my 50 years in politics.
It makes Nixon look like a boy scout.

.@jamestalarico: I've had a lot of interviews with national media. No one's ever asked me about the cost of housing. No one's asked me about the cost of prescription drugs. The only thing the media wants to ask me about are trans athletes.
The only minority destroying this country is the billionaires. Trans people are 1% of the population. Undocumented people are 1% of the population. We are all focused on the wrong 1%.
Trans people aren't taking away our healthcare. Undocumented people aren't defunding our schools. It's the billionaires and their puppet politicians
CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.
🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent threatened to kill a U.S. citizen for driving through a neighborhood, in Cold Spring, Minnesota.
In the video, a woman is in her car when an agent walks towards her, with his hand on his gun, in the middle of the street.
He tells her that if she comes near him with her car, it will be “the last thing that you do.”
In other words… a federal agent just threatened to execute a U.S. citizen for driving down a public street.
She immediately points out that she wasn’t even close to him and tells him to get out of the road.
Instead, the agent escalates.
He stands directly in front of her vehicle, hand still on his gun, and tells her she cannot reverse or leave the street.
Except there’s just one problem…
He never identifies a crime.
He never states a lawful order.
He simply blocks her car and starts issuing threats.
That’s an illegal detention.
Then, he contradicts himself…
He told her she can’t back up… and seconds later screams at her to “back the f*ck up.”
The agent then walks to the side of her car and begins shining a flashlight directly into her face, with his hand still on his gun.
When she tells him to get the light out of her face and back off, he moves directly in front of her car again and repeats the threat:
“Do not hit me. This is your first and last warning.”
Again… she hasn’t moved.
Her car is still in reverse, and she repeatedly tells him to take his hand off his gun.
She even says:
“I’m not going to hit you!”
And yet, the agent keeps escalating, screaming the same accusation over and over… as if he’s trying to manufacture a justification to shoot her.
This is the exact same tactic we’ve already seen in multiple shootings involving ICE/Border Patrol… where federal agents step in front of vehicles and then claim they feared for their lives when the driver tries to leave, like they told them to do.
Blocking a vehicle, threatening deadly force, illegally detaining a citizen, and creating a scenario where a shooting can be justified after the fact…
Is not only dangerous, it’s illegal.
Because when armed federal agents start threatening to kill people for driving down their own street, more people are eventually going to end up dead…
And they will call it “self-defense.”
And removing Kristi Noem isn’t going to change that.
🚨 Rep. Neguse just exposed a $143 million no-bid contract live on camera:
The company has no headquarters. No website. No prior federal contracts.
It was incorporated 8 days before receiving the contract.
Its registered address belongs to a political operative.
One of its subcontractors is a political firm tied directly to Kristi Noem from her time as South Dakota governor.
Neguse asked Noem where the company is headquartered.
“I don’t know.”
$143 million of taxpayer money. Vanished into a ghost company. Connected to the Secretary of Homeland Security herself.
This is the agency running DOGE. Cutting waste. Eliminating fraud.
McGovern: Republicans can't answer because they were against war with Iran until exactly the second Donald Trump decided to go to war, and now they're all running around sounding like neocon lunatics.
America can't take this level of gaslighting. I went to the classified briefing. There was no imminent threat, I guess, unless Republicans want to redefine the word imminent to mean stretching back 47 years.
This whole thing is just so transparently built on lies. Republicans went from imminent threat to regime change to nukes, back to imminent threat in the last 24 hours. This is Iraq 2.0. I still remember the lies about WMDs. I voted against that war, too. At least George Bush had the decency to lie to people's face.
It's not Donald Trump's kids that will have to go fight and die for their draft dodging dad. It's not the children of of the billionaire Epstein class. It's working class kids who are going to put their lives on the line. Shame on Republicans. I'm sick of this bs. We're spending billions of dollars a day on a war, and we can't even get Republicans to join us to expand health care in America.
How the hell is this America first? You guys broke your top campaign promise. Good luck with that. I hope the defense contractor money was worth it. Shame on you all. The mask is off. You're all just a bunch of pathetic Neocon Warmongers.
It's wonderful - in a Caligulish kind of way that Trump's decree"Unleashing American Energy" managed to include his deep, perennial obsession with shower heads. Apparently the American people have been forbidden to exercise freedom of choice about said shower heads - and of course light bulbs and toilets. Welcome to the reign of the nutcase emperor folks.
Never underestimate the extent to which Trump's "policies" have simply been generated by personal pique" and grudges: wind turbine phobia by his fury about Aberdeen golf course views and losing court case vs Scottish gvt; Panama by losing physical control over Trump-branded hotel.
Once I did a story on a humble South Dallas church collecting food for the needy. The only person in the building when I got there was a woman cooking breakfast for the volunteers. Without even looking up she said "Are you hungry?"
That's how you know you've found a church.
