ON PETABYTE, HIS ROLE IN #FLOKI AND HIS LATEST FUD ATTACK

The respected crypto sleuth @zachxbt recently released the following thread about Petabyte:

It’s been almost two weeks since ZachXBT’s thread, and Petabyte hasn’t addressed any of the claims in that thread. Instead, he is trying to divert attention from it by attacking Floki.

I am necessitated to write this post because Petabyte has repeatedly claimed to be a “Floki co-founder,” publicly and privately, and he has leveraged this claim in a way that could negatively impact the project.

Petabyte’s “Floki Co-Founder” Claims…

While the official Floki pages have released a statement establishing that Floki does not have a co-founder in the hopes that this would deter him, this behavior has instead persisted.

You can find a screenshot from @ZachXBT’s thread showing Petabyte claiming responsibility for Floki's success as "one of the co founders behind Floki" when he pitches himself to these projects:

As you can see from Zach’s thread, he requests a percentage of supply from these projects and promises a market cap of "$100m just as a first initial target" and a "chance of reaching $1bn" because they have him on board. He then tweets about these projects, often throwing out arbitrary market cap targets for them, then he proceeds to dump the tokens their team gave him shortly after.

He also publicly denies having been paid by these projects, as seen in this conversation with @IncomeSharks:

(He claims this particular position isn’t a paid one, lied that he was never paid by Floki (he received a salary until he left), and insinuates that he has promoted all the projects he has promoted because he “just love building with successful projects” and that “success is the true reward, not money”).

I will not comment on Petabyte’s activities. ZachXBT has done a much better job than I could ever do using blockchain data and chat screenshots as evidence (as he always does, selflessly and often thanklessly!).

That said, Petabyte has escalated things by both claiming that 1) he is responsible for Floki’s success as a “co-founder” 2) that the project “threw him under the bus” by denouncing his co-founder claim and how he is leveraging this claim with other projects.

As such, I am forced to denounce these claims using clearly documented evidence going back to Floki’s start…
