Seven years in the making, and somehow, this song found me when I needed it the most. The past few months have taught me that sometimes, the closer you get to the things that bring you joy, the heavier life becomes. I’ve experienced betrayal, disappointment, and moments where I had to find strength in places I thought were empty. But through it all, God kept reminding me that a difficult season doesn't mean a defeated life. Sometimes, the journey breaks you open just to reveal the person you're becoming.
