https://t.co/LKhKzvtPrP - an app created during bootcamp. I wanted to deploy it so users visiting my portfolio had a live project to check out. I KNOW the styling is early 2000s vibes 😂 focusing on my new and improved portfolio before fixing the styling on that app

Deployed an app with @flydotio and it took less than half an hr - their documentation is very easy to follow along! Highly recommend 🚀

YAY, my PR was merged onto https://t.co/5EoS154uST. My first open source contribution! Understanding a large codebase and knowing which files to look at can be tricky so I'm glad I was able to overcome and commit 😆

[Naomi @6nomi4]

Just put in my first PR to an open-source project! Will keep y'all updated on if it gets merged hehe

[Naomi @6nomi4]

as a junior developer, it is overwhelming how many languages there are to learn. I don't know how to focus my time today in order to help me land a job tomorrow

[Naomi @6nomi4]

Forked and cloned an open source project I want to contribute to and the test suite has been running for about 15 minutes now 😆

🎉 #Rails 7.0.5 supports PostgreSQL's generated columns! Here's a fun example: Tracking a chicken's egg-laying with a `:eggs_per_day` virtual column. It calculates average eggs laid per day and updates with each new egg and day.

Applying to jobs gets pretty overwhelming, esp when seeing all the technologies you need to know. So many things to learn
