My personal view on City's goal is that Fernandez was clearly offside, and he genuinely attempted to head the ball and score, which ultimately influenced the game.
However, the reason I don't particularly care is that until clubs and fans unite and put aside their tribalism to demand change and improved officiating, this will keep happening.
If that had happened to Arsenal, then United fans would be among the first to laugh at us and tell us to get on with it. So, I have no sympathy. It’s a never-ending cycle.
