Today the kids worked to figure out our first concept…identity! Students analyzed quotes, made connections, and finished with reading about what identity means for a 6th grader. They did great! Tomorrow they will make an “Identity Board” using components from our article.

Loved our final project for “Refugee” by Alan Gratz! Students had the option to build a raft, make a stop-motion animation, turn the story into a children’s book, or make a board/card game. The stop-motion animation final product will be in my next tweet! So proud of the results!
