@andreajenkyns today @Ed_Miliband granted West Burton Solar, 7,000 acres in a 6 mile radius on agricultural land in West Lindsey a further 6000 acres in the pipeline. 20% of this land. He told Peers "windfarms and infrastructure will not dominate the countryside"! Not True!

@RishiSunak A good start, but what about the folly of using thousands of acres of agricultural land for solar. A robust rooftop and brownfield policy is needed now to stop the harm to local communities! Land is a finite resource that should treasured, we have millions of rooftops.

@RosieP4 @grantschapps thats great about the space solar technology. However come one. 10,000 acre sized solar site in rural Lincolnshire! to get 50MW. Surrounding 30 villages. The third largest solar farm in the world! What about our well being, what about our farming land!
