The most cost-effective and safe way to ship an artwork is unframed and rolled, especially if it’s a larger work.

Once the artwork arrives, take it as is to a local vendor to have it stretched and framed.

6) Authenticity
If the description doesn’t have information on the authenticity of the work, don’t be afraid to reach out to the gallery or shop to ask.

Typically the artwork will either be signed by the artist or will come with a COA.

Make sure you read the description under the artwork that catches your eye.

It will tell you whether it’s an original or print, its exact measurements, and the materials, surface and techniques used.
