Just a reminder, the transfer portal for youth travel is open 24/7, 365.
Metro finally figuring out what we’ve know for years - that you can poach 50% of another org’s team & parents will be dumb enough to fall for the sales pitch.
All these prep schools and the players are still going to the same level of college that they would’ve ended up going to if they stayed at their local HS
Just a reminder there are lots of businesses out here to help you hold back your son so you can make money.
It’s always fun to watching kids held back a few times dominate younger ones, right?
The private baseball industry is booming, but it faces a critical paradox:
business success depends on player volume, but high volume erodes development & competition quality.
2 cents from a former MLB player ⬇️
And less than 7% are lucky enough to play at the collegiate level……Lots of misinformed people wasting tons of money following the Herd!! Ask the right questions and hunt the truth; results don’t lie!!
And yet the reason they do it is because parents are silly enough to believe it.
PG and PBR are battling it out to see who can separate parents from their money fastest.
This. My son turned 12 a few days ago. There are countless money grabs out there like this. Parents, there is zero reason to spend $400 plus travel expenses for a showcase at age 12. Zero.

We are the gatekeepers, and the toll is $5k minimum.
We sell a dream. Pay us early and often and your kid can might be a pro or play college ball (see our shiny graphics).
No $$$$, no play.
This is one of the great sins of our age: The professionalization of youth sports. Dads, including the ones who love baseball, are kicked out of the dugout and demoted from partners in this glorious game to mere payers. https://t.co/FpmRMsRqXJ
$4B private equity-run company better pay well.
Don’t ask for anything less than $300K/year with 401k, medical and dental. @prepbaseball has deep pockets yall, know your worth.
Yeah so? We can keep selling the dream to elementary and middle school Dads who never wore a jock strap and they keep buying cause our Canva skills are next level.
Ugly scene happening in college baseball right now after the draft.
Players being cut a week before arriving on campus due to expected draft picks not being selected.
Parents and players beware!
