INTENSITY AT ALL TIMES: #USC DL Floyd Boucard described the Trojans’ preparation under defensive coordinator Gary Patterson as intense and game-like, with Patterson demanding the same level of focus and physicality even during walkthroughs. The expectation is simple: 100% effort in everything they do.
“It’s really intense. He’s going to attack everything like it’s a game. Even if it’s just a walkthrough, he’s still going to attack it like a game. We put 100% effort into everything we do…”

@PubliusofTroy I agree with the test in the next 2 games. I think that is a reason for getting the depth reps. I think if we can make FS 1 dementianal it will get out of hand to allow it. But gotta stop their run game 1st

@SSalisburyShow@uscfb Disagree to an extent. The 2 deep did dominate and didnt sputter thru 3. The 3s and 4s did in the 4th. Great learning experience for them tho
@FightOnRusty@PFF This week will show a little better where front 7 stands. Not worried about lack of sacks with how quick SJ was getting the ball out for the most part
Overall very encouraged with where this team is at. A vanilla game to get lots of guys on film. This week will be a better challenge for the front 7 and will show better how things may look for BIG games down the road. FIGHT ON! ✌️
Final thoughts on SJST.... Offense there are no worries except OL injuries. Great push from them and great depth at other positions. Injuries could disrupt chemistry.Freshman killed it and the reps are gonna play huge dividends in the future.
Safeties need to be more disciplined. GP will get this right as hes a stickler for playing sound assignment football and not afraid to let em know. I expect to see improvement every week going forward.
Defense, not worried about the final score as the reps again are great for learning and progressing. Front 7 was solid but still need better discipline on technique. Secondary, corners were solid but IMO were giving too much cushion.
