“Waqf Terrorism” is deeply troubling farmers across Karnataka. Thousands of lands were earlier notified and even had their revenue entries altered in favour of the Waqf. Following widespread protests across the state, the government assured that no further Waqf notices would be issued to farmers.

However, the situation persists over 650 farmers in Gokak have been served notices to submit their documents since a waqf claim is registered on these lands.
