Yesterday the Prime Minister promised me that he would take action to address my issue of the Irish passport holders in NI stranded in Middle East- this morning I can confirm that this is now the protocol:
• Anyone who is eligible for British nationality can use Register Your Presence.
• This includes those with birthright citizenship under the Good Friday agreement irrespective of whether or not they have a British Passport.
• If a constituent does not have a British Passport but wishes to register their presence they can call our 24/7 Consular Call Centre +44 (0)7008 5000, who will advise them how to do so.
@implausibleblog As a professional with loans from 2 degrees I feel that student loans are still the way to go for all courses. However if your degree gets you a job in the public sector there should be loan forgiveness after, say 10 years of service. 12 years in the NHS still paying £250 a month
Managing the flow of patients through our hospitals is a complex issue and there are many reasons why yours or your loved one’s discharge from hospital can be delayed.
@deirdreheenan@Mickmac45049764 Not only this but delayed discharges means someone else will be lying on a trolley in the ED for an unacceptable amount of time awaiting the bed to become free. That is intolerable and patients are suffering as a result of this
@DrSimonAshworth @AaronGoodman33 Social care plays a really big part too. Without the right support at home, vulnerable people are at risk of readmissiin
@TradAdvocate@hondahunny18k @AbuAfiaAK @two_oftwo@FreckledLiberty What utter nonsense. Women are leaving husbands who do not respect them, do not help them and have expectations way above their equal partnership. Men are the problem, women are finding a solution in leaving.

Jim Ratcliffe, "Brexit sort of unfortunately didn't umm.. It didn't turn out as people anticipated"
"It was about immigration.. People fed up with the influx.. A small island like the UK can't cope with vast numbers of people.. It overburdens the NHS, traffic, the police"
"The country is designed for 55 or 60 million people, now we've got 70 million and all the services break down"
Man who left the UK to be an immigrant in Monaco to avoid UK tax, is complaining about immigrants coming to the UK who are paying UK taxes 🤷♂️
By moving to Monaco Ratcliffe avoided £4 billion in tax.
So I put it to you, the reason services are underfunded is not because of immigrants who come to the UK and pay their fair share of tax. It's because of people like Ratcliffe who avoid paying their share of UK tax and so starve public services.
And Brexit turned out exactly how many predicted, and arguably it's worse than many predicted. Warnings were dismissed as project fear, and of course people like Ratcliffe won't be impacted by the extend of Brexit. When you're worth over £12 billion, a 50% increase in your food shopping bill isn't even noticable
@davidmbarnett Mine was a pogo stick, so devastated about never getting one I was keen to ensure my daughter had one as soon as she was able. She bit a huge whole in her tongue on her second day of use and was never to be seen again
@Gay__MD On the same note, as a Hospital Social Worker in ED please tell your patients when they are fit for discharge and are not for admission. Too often the medic has to recalled to clarify with the patient that they are indeed well enough to leave!
Thank you Jacinda Ardern for everything you’ve done to inspire women and girls across the world.
The compassion and courage you’ve displayed has shown that our politics can be one of hope and respect.
