My thoughts on the Haney-Shakur debacle is neither fighter wants to actually fight each other.

The excuses, demands, & Bobaluba is out of control.

I like both fighters, & they're both great fighter's, but when is reality going to set in where in fact this fight isn't going to happen with each fighter's current attitude & demands.

Boxing Promoters & Excutives need to stop attempting to manufacture fights that in reality don't exist, because the fighters don't actually want the fight. Promoters & Excutives need to realize & recognize that.

And another issue is where does it say the promoter must lose money just to overpay the fighters to entice them to step into the ring to ply their trade.

Shakur last fought in January. Haney last fought in last November. And now neither has a fight scheduled.

These fighters in this era fight once a year. That in its self is ridiculous. But a promoter shouldn't have to overpay the fighters so the promoter can lose money so the fighter's only need to fight once a year.

Let the fighters fight where they're fighting currently, on social media! Making absolutely zero.

This problem is limited to American fighters. It's not happening like this in Boxing anywhere in the world except in the United States. Nowhere but the United States. That is very telling.

In my 35 years as a career Boxing professional, I have never seen this business & sport so screwed up.

I have said it before & I will repeat it over & over. Boxing absolutely needs a complete reset.

Let this Haney-Shakur debacle be a learning experience for everybody. Like I said "everybody"
