@NintyPrime Exactly, people really like both games. Palworld ain't gonna kill pokemon and palworld ain't dying any time soon. So why can't we all just get along
@tsumi_ice The comparison is in the fact that they both have monster catching as a mechanic, if it was just because they were teo different games, we wouldn't be fighting.
@Shin1lower_2 I agree with a lot of what you said, however it is the fact that they are both monster catching games with similar artstyles that causes the comparison. Yeah they are completely different but those two things make it really easy to say this thing is like this thing.
@DanteDaedalusVT For example, he seems to believe that the reason the companies like sony and xbox are going down at the moment are due to both of them trying to go after Nintendo when competition seems to be the least of their problems rn.
@DanteDaedalusVT This guy specifically, has a unhealthy attachment to Nintendo. Seems to be all he posts about. And while quite a few of his posts seem positive, a large chunk of them are constantly tying Nintendo into larger gaming news.
@hydelander315 This discourse started because people were claiming stolen designs, the fight was started by pokemon fans. Not that im against pokemon, but come on. Palworld didn't didn't come in with the pokemon with guns label, everyone else did.
@mezirogyarudan@Mykm_Crash Craftopia didn't give them much, especially since they kinda let it die for a really long time before palworld was released.
@mezirogyarudan@Mykm_Crash They are still small in comparison to the larger companies out there, places like sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have billions of workers. Around three hundred is a drop in the bucket. Not to mention they were even smaller when palworld came out.
@Mykm_Crash It just comes from the fact that they wanted to make a good game. The fact the mashed a bunch of things together doesn't make it any less a form of art. Like how people can make art from paper cut outs, or people who draw as a hobby.
@Mykm_Crash I think its just the CEO's stance on games, with a lot of these people siding with pokemon, its been about artistic merit, even if their thoughts on it are skewed. With some of the people in between, i assume its the same. In my opinion, the game does have some.
@JCeacc@AGregtothePast PC gamers made a choice, i should know, i am one. PlayStation users don't really have one. Especially since buying games on discs can be a lot cheaper than buying on digital where the company sets the price directly.
@JCeacc@AGregtothePast Ive heard that GOG is better for that but the point is, PlayStation doesn't really have an alternative for that. If rules were put in place so that the customers could have proper ownership of the games they buy we wouldn't have too much to say.
