@LincolnRestler Dude, your next step is deputizing vigilantes like some other politician who is remarkably divisive…. If only I could remember who that is…
@zellnor4ny@J__Velasquez As soon as I’ve hit my retirement date for the nyc DoE, I am leaving NYC- and I’m a 3rd generation NYer raising a 4th generation NYer. I’m done.
.@ABC7 why are using the title ‘President’ for Trump but the title ‘Mr’ for Biden? It’s inappropriate and disrespectful as well as smacking of political leaning. 8.8.24 6:09pm
.@NYC_DOT
It’s time for you to fix the Wythe exit ramp on the BQE instead of planning flower pits & wiggly (ineffective) bike lanes on useless walking streets. #Priorities#streetsareforcars
.@NYC_DOT you must really hate Jackson Heights from what you’ve done: between the Closed Street on 34th Ave. and the traffic on Northern Boulevard from the ‘express’ lane- no one is ever going to want to live here.
@NYCMayor .@NYCMayor I may have a calling, but I also have bills to pay, a family to feed and school supplies to buy to maintain my ‘calling’. #Teachers deserve more than appreciation, teachers deserve a salary that can sustain them in #NYC.
Hey @jessicaramos, @NYSUT & public school advocates urge you to REJECT the expansion of charter schools. Stand with educators, parents, students and not billionaires advocating for charter expansion. Charter schools can’t fill their current seats - they don’t need more!
.@NYC_DOT BQE west bound exit 31 needs some serious attention. This exit can add 10 minutes to a commute ..( & no, there’s no convenient Mass Transit instead).
Just because some teachers would rather stay in the classroom than go into administration doesn’t mean they aren’t leaders. In fact as a leader, seek their input and feedback if you want to build a highly effective school culture.
@Mssarahmssarah@BklynBckstretch I’ve been trying to get one. 18th year in the DoE, was a NYC public school student- haven’t been able to score a doorknob, but did get an end seat of auditorium row for my parents garden when the floor was redone.
The NYC DOE is reporting 1,599 new staff and student covid cases for the first three days of school this week.
The total number of reported cases, after 26 days of school so far this year, is now at 18,199.
