@adhdcoachIB Yasss! April - September: completely refresh my coding knowledge.
October - January: what day it is today?
Not to mention weekly struggles like the one you mentioned. I wanted to start a Substack 3 yrs ago. Wrote my first post. In November. Even tweeting (x-ing?) is a pain๐
@adhdcoachIB I tried, and I tried... and NOTHING works. 20 different apps, calendars, planners, helpers, body doubling... maybe I'm just doomed to fail ๐คท
Having #ADHD is like waking up at 6 a.m. thinking "I'm gonna get so much shit done today", and then reading news that you'd already read the day before for 2hrs, and then falling asleep. And tweeting (x-ing? ๐ค) about it just before you doze offffffffffffffff
Having ADHD screw-ups with non-ADHD people is probably one of my biggest sources of shame. With my ADHD peeps, it's like, well, at least we can laugh about me mixing up the dates three times. But outside that bubble, I just feel like I'm burning my bridges.
@adhdcoachIB No support at all. Of course, they were "asking" and "interested" but gave zero f*cks about learning for themselves, at least those who had any say. Equality ended with adding a rainbow and pronouns to the e-mail footer. ๐คท
