Bloomberg reports that $TSLA is delaying the robotaxi event to October (from Aug 8th) to get the vehicles ready to be showcased.

Reason why the stock down 7% is because it's a reminder that in the world of Tesla things take longer than expected.

While this will dampen the recent rally in shares, the shift in timing doesn't change anything. Tesla is still best positioned to lead in an autonomous future, which will unlock higher margins.

Stopped at the store earlier to grab a few things. A very old man with a walker was checking out in front of me. As the cashier was ringing him up, he would tell her to put things back until all he had was a box of store brand corn flakes, a half gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. A small bag of apples, some peanut butter, and cheese was what he didn't get.

After he paid and started slowly walking away, I asked the cashier to ring them up quickly on my bill and I caught him and set them in the front of his walker. He looked up and said "those aren't mine, I had to put them back". I said "they are now, I bought them for you". He immediately got tears in his eyes and thanked me.

This is not me patting myself on the back, or wanting anyone else to, it is a reminder to pay attention to those around you and help if you can. I'm not wealthy, but the $11 and some change it cost me could have meant he won't go hungry for the next few days...worth every penny!

Times are hard for most everyone right now, but some have it so much worse than others and no real ability to make money due to age and health.
