We do not give this advice lightly but close now, do not offer delivery or takekouts unless you are providing essential meals for (say) elderly. Leave all off sales / food sales to existing providers. We need to stop the spread of infection by all means necessary. #ukpubs
We're at the tipping point where sensible financial support for pubs / small biz is not sensible health advice for people. Every hour people delay cutting social distancing & staying at home makes the increase in (preventable) illnesses and deaths a certainty. #StayHomeSaveLives
@patc57 you need to factor wet sales / gross profit from the duty paid volume & not the container size, big selling cask ales have only 66 / 68 salable pints, then there is operational wastage so 64-65 pints in the till. Basing trade on 72 pints is financially disastrous. Cheers #72pints
Stonegate pub fined £53k after mouse infestation - Rodents seemingly more important than tenants - the PCA have not fined a single Pubco a penny despite widespread non-compliance since July 2016 #ukpubs https://t.co/PbAtwgBRol
@eaglealehouse@ByRobDavies As in buying in or making a product with say 68 consumable saleable units loading it into a box that holds 72...then keeping mum and selling on the box as if it had 72 consumable saleable units just forgetting to mention the actual contents were 68? #ukpubs#72pints
Sir @SCrabbPembs this issue was reported to you some time ago https://t.co/CS4isy2kC8 why was an unfair business practice reported in good faith by a local publican allowed to continue? #ukpubs#72pints
