@CrystalHope1979@atensnut@Arkypatriot When I was making coffee a few minutes ago, it started to rain just as the water was boiling. Now that I poured the coffee, the rain stopped. The sun is coming out. Beautiful. Enjoy this victory today.
Never meant a Mormon I didn't like and thats the saddest part about their false Gospel it appeals to many wonderful people . Actually we made some mormon friends on Vacation told us that they felt empty in their church and started watching our Baptist Church services online . Good friend of my grew up in Grass Valley parents were mormon he got saved in a little Baptist church through a buddy of his when he was 8 years old had to go with his parents to the LDS church until he was 18 he said even at 8 the Holy Spirit confirmed to him the the LDS church was wrong. At 18 he joined a Baptist church was there many years until he moved to Arkansas little over a year ago . Great guy very humble servant.
@farmingandJesus The really strange thing is this: If both Mormons and Evangelicals are Christians, then why are Mormons sending missionaries to convert Evangelicals to "Christianity"? I'm a Pastor in Utah and my people are visited by Mormon missionaries regularly who try to convert them.
@farmingandJesus Mormons don't think about their faith. It's 100% blind faith.
I live in Utah. Some of the smartest people I know are hard-core Mormon.
They're 100% logical about work, but the second the topic switches to mormonism their logic switches off completely. It's so weird
🚨 UPDATE: Governor candidate Steve Hilton just said he plans to ABOLISH the weeks-long California vote counting if elected
GOOD! Be like Florida!
HILTON: "India counts over 640 million votes in a day. California cannot count less than 10 million votes in a month!"
"Mail-in ballots must arrive by election day if they're going to be counted. Mail-in ballots can only be offered by request as it used to be. You shouldn't be sending out mail-in ballots to everyone on the voter rolls when we know the voter rolls are completely WRONG!"
"We should be pre-counting these votes just like Florida does. So it doesn't end up being this mad backlog that takes a month or so to count. It's completely ridiculous."
🚨BREAKING :In a stunning 6-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled parents are allowed to opt their children out of being indoctrinated with LGBTQ+ propaganda!
🚨 BOOM — THE TRUTH OF ISLAM JUST GOT NUKED ON CONGRESS!
Amy Mek: “Islam is a HOSTILE, totalitarian political ideology using our freedom to DESTROY us. To every non-Muslim, it offers 3 choices: convert, submit, or DIE."
The West must repel this evil!
"If Jesus was God, why didn't He just say it?"
I used to ask that as a Muslim.
I thought I had Christians cornered. Then I actually read the Bible I was criticizing.
And I realized I wasn't looking for evidence. I was looking for a specific sentence.
But does God need your preferred wording to still be God?
Because God said: "Before Abraham was, I AM."
The Jews immediately picked up stones to kill Him. Why?
Because they knew exactly what He was claiming.
He wasn't just saying He existed before Abraham.
He was identifying Himself with the "I AM" of Exodus 3:14.
The divine name of Yahweh.
And here's what wrecked me:
The Quran calls Jesus the Messiah: The Word of God. A Spirit from God. Born of a virgin. Sinless and alive today. Returning to judge the world.
Yet I'm supposed to believe He's just another basic prophet?
No other prophet gets that description. Not Moses, David, Abraham or Muhammad.
Then you open the Bible and Jesus forgives sins, accepts worship, claims authority over heaven and earth, and rises from the dead. So no, Jesus never walked around saying, "I'm God, worship Me" in the exact sentence structure I demanded.
He did something far more powerful: He lived it, He proved it.
And honestly, after reading the Scriptures for myself, the problem wasn't that Jesus wasn't clear.
The problem was that I didn't want to hear Him.
RFK Jr: Fauci FORCED AIDS patients onto the deadly chemo drug AZT and KILLED 330,000 people.
Fauci STOPPED any treatment alternative other than AZT.
Exactly like during COVID. Fauci STOPPED Ivermectin & Hydroxychloroquine...and ONLY allowed deadly Remdesivir.
.@GavinNewsom says he wishes the vote count moved faster.
California doesn't need a governor who wishes.
California needs a governor who acts.
Change is coming!
Forget it, Governor. In California this stuff about percentages is a dog and pony show. The media are a part of the charade, of course. It is a 100% certainty that a Democrat will win every major office. Every single time. There is no contest. It is just pure cheating every time.
The reason many people do not classify Mormonism as Christian is not because it mentions Jesus, but because it teaches a fundamentally different Jesus, a different God, and a different gospel than the one revealed in Scripture.
Historic Christianity teaches one eternal God in three Persons (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19), that Jesus is the eternal Creator (John 1:1-3; Col. 1:16), and that salvation is by grace through faith apart from works (Eph. 2:8-9). Mormonism teaches that God was once a man, that humans can become gods, that Jesus is a created being and spirit-brother of Lucifer, and that exaltation involves temple ordinances and works.
The issue isn't whether a group uses Christian terminology. Paul warned that people could preach "another Jesus" and "a different gospel" (2 Cor. 11:4; Gal. 1:6-9). By the historic and biblical definitions of Christianity, Mormon theology falls outside orthodox Christian belief.
That's why Jehovah's Witnesses and Latter-day Saints are often listed separately from Christian denominations on government and census forms (they should not be listed as Christians here). The distinction is doctrinal, not personal.
Maybe because Christianity is monotheistic and Mormonism isn't? Maybe because of the "Great Apostasy" doctrine? How about this line from Mormonism's founder? "We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea, and take away the veil so that you may see"? Just a few possibilities.
Two great character actors going head to head and creating pure gold.
Richard Jordan and Joss Ackland only share three short scenes in The Hunt for Red October (1990), but every glance, pause, and polite line lands like a move in a ruthless chess match. Absolute perfection.
@farmingandJesus They have some wacky theology:
• They teach soul sleep — when you die, you’re unconscious until the resurrection, no immediate heaven or hell.
• They believe in annihilationism — the wicked are destroyed forever, not tormented eternally.
