@Mcaines001 @a_pinsent Follow-up to the original story. It seems it does have to go through the legal process before they can be evicted. If the police can't forcibly remove them, the posted "eviction notice" by a bailiff was not valid. Only the Sheriff can enforce it.

@Mcaines001 @a_pinsent The owner has attempted to evict them, therfore not a legally binding eviction. We just did one this week, if the tenant doesn't leave, we call the police (the sheriff technically) and they are escorted out. This is the reverse, the tenants called the police on the owner/bailiff.

You may dislike everything about the convoy but you should still be worried about this. Canada does not hold non-violent people in jail indefinitely before trials for non-violent crimes.
