Crackdown on unsafe food in #Bengaluru

Food Safety and Drug Administration officials led by commissioner K Srinivas conducted raids on several star hotels across the city to check for food safety compliance. While one star hotel was using rotten onions another had stocked 31 litres of expired milk packets.

A Thar driver tried to skip the long queue on the Bangalore–Mysore Expressway and almost hit my car. I had to brake suddenly to avoid a collision, and fortunately, nothing happened.

The Lalit Ashok : 76 kg of meat & 200 kg of vegetables seized. 32 litres of expired milk seized & destroyed.

Shangri-La Bengaluru: 15 kg of meat seized.

Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru: 19 kg of meat seized.

Vivanta Bengaluru Whitefield: 3 kg of expired bakery products

Taj Yeshwantpur: 72 kg of meat/ fish was seized.

The Radisson Blue (The Atria): 105 kg of expired food articles, comprising 50 kg of chicken, 25 kg of meat, 23 kg of fish & 7 kg of vegetables seized
