Every Sunday night I remind myself:
Whatever happened last week doesn’t matter anymore.
Doesn’t matter if I made money, lost money or missed the best setups.
Tomorrow is a new week with new opportunities.
No need to make anything happen. No need to prove anything.
Just show up, follow my system and let the market do its thing.

Motivation gets you into trading.
Discipline keeps you alive in trading.
There will be weeks where you feel no motivation at all. You’ll still need to journal, wait for setups, and sit through boredom.
That’s the difference between someone who blows up and someone who grows.
Discipline pays. Motivation fades.
Profitable trading is as simple as accepting some days you will have no idea whats going on in the charts.
It is when that happens, that you close your laptop and walk away.
Immediately eliminating any chance of tilt, fomo, chasing, blowing up.
All because you accepted cluelessness over ego.
I will purchase a vest Account and scale with my model there.
Will document that journey here.
From 500 instant > 5,000 Eval > 10,000 Eval.
I like their platform and there is no KYC which is so good 👏🏽
During the first few years of your trading journey
It’s so normal to panic
To worry if you’re wasting your time
To worry if you’ll ever make it
To feel impatient in reaching your goals
To feel like everyone knows what they are doing except you
It’s normal
It’s all a part of the process
But it’s extremely hard to accept that truth whilst you’re in the trenches
So I’m here to remind you
That as long as you are working on improving yourself and your trading skillset daily
As long as you are doing the necessary work such as backtesting and journaling
Then you are on the right path
You are exactly where you are supposed to be
And you will figure it out
So don’t lose hope
Keep learning and keep improving
And one day you will look back and realise that every struggle you faced served a purpose
You’ll see that it wasn’t punishment, it was preparation
And you will feel beyond grateful for all the difficulties you had to overcome because they shaped you into the person you are today 🫶
trading is weird.
one month you're struggling financially.
six months later, you could have a level of freedom you never imagined.
nothing is guaranteed. but a lot can change.
is it easy? no.
but when has anything worth doing ever been easy?
I have talked to 2 traders this week that lost huge amounts of money. I know every feeling that goes into it. You are not alone, any of you. Being a long term profitable trader is not a straight line. I made millions by 35, by 43-44 I was driving Uber 7 days a week to feed my wife & 5 kids. I took a hard look at who I was & how I lived. I took a deep dive into what worked for me trading & what I did to blow up. I was a very well known & experienced CME pit trader. I set about to develop a process of trading that fullfilled 3 requirements, it had to be consistent, repeatable & scalable. At 58 I am healthier, happier, stronger in spite of heart issues and prostate cancer. I have deep and meaningful relationships with people of all ages and all over the world.
This is a marathon not a sprint. There are no shortcuts, no easier softer way. Do the work. It is worth it.
You win a trade.
And the next one.
And the one after.
But then…
You lose all your gains in 1 trade.
Fatality. Greed wins again.
Break the cycle or the loop repeats itself.
